The purposes of this practicum are to develop our pedagogical skills that challenge our communication, adapting to a new teaching-learning environment and independently cope with the culture and tradition in a different country.

The practicum procedures at SMAN 2 Semarang was seamlessly done. It started from our orientation and internship workshop at the receiving university (UNISSULA) to our deployment at SMAN 2 Semarang. We have been taken care of since our observation week until the last day of our teaching evaluation. The teachers, school staff, students and even our colleagues have provided all of our needs such as class schedules, records, student lists, consultation, mentorship, training, workshop, orientation, housing and even excursions.

The outcomes of this practicum would be the improvement of our teaching abilities, communication skills, familiarity with the country's culture and traditions, and adaptability to a new teaching-learning environment. More than that, it also developed our social skills by engaging with different types of people or groups which expanded our connections and networks.

The challenges of this practicum include the adjustment to the working environment, language barriers with the locals, learning basic Bahasa Indonesia language, and familiarity with the country's culture, traditions, and practices. 

The level of hospitality and professionalism is highly commendable. UNISSULA, SMAN 2 Semarang, and other related institutions are organized, kind, friendly, accommodating and approachable. Difficulties were very minimal to none for the entire teaching practice. All of our needs at school were provided including comfort, safety, transportation, and housing. Most importantly, the friendships, the bonds and memories that we built are priceless.

They offered good educational opportunities and platforms that greatly shaped our teaching capabilities. The treatment, facilities, and other things have met my expectations and catered to my needs. In fact, it exceeded my expectations. There is nothing that I could suggest at the moment since the practicum was smoothly done, pre-existing plans were right on schedule and everything was well-organized. Kudos for a job well done!
